Mangalayatan University was established in 2006 and located in the northern state of India, Uttar Pradesh and is rapidly expanding throughout the country, with intentions to become an international destination. Mangalayatan University is a private university and is approved by the University Grants Commission for offering various programs including diploma, degree and certificate programs.

Since the start of the University of Mangalayatan, about 6000 students have been graduates. There are currently more than 2000 students enrolling in different courses for the recent admission course.
